Getting back from a Schedule form

I have a BO Called LeaveApplication.

Each Application has a reference Attribute called Events (or Appointment type)

A user can have many Leave Applications and I display them in a Query.
In that Query I have an action Icon called Schedule which displays the events of this application in a Schedule.

Here is the problem...
If I open it in a Pop Up.....Cannot get the form to be big enough
If I open in Default or Tab...Opens in a whole for with no way of navigating back to the Applications table.

I would ideally like to have two Tabs...
Tab 1 is the table and Tab 2 is the Schedule
However there is now way I can get the Schedule Tab to know which Application record is selected.

I have tried removing the Reference Events table alltogether and instead displaying the Schedule but that to does not work...see different post....no Schedule type to display referenced attribute.

Wondering in someone can provide a hint on the best way to do this please?
