We previously asked about hosting requirements.
Awaresoft refply indicated 1) Dedicated machine with remote start/stop capability and 2) RAM capabilities to run AwareIM
Question: What RAM capabilities does AwareIM minimally require? It has run on 512MB systems to date, okay.
3) We are using MySQL and you stated ability to allocate two MySQL databases.
Question: Are you referring to the two ba... databases? These always appear in our current configuration with MySQL running.
Question: We have run into differences in running SQL a) as a Service and b) not as a service. Can you give any more info on why AwareIM may not come up when the Service flag is set?
Thanks.

Aware IM requires 256Mb minimum. It will probably run with less memory but it would be rather risky.

Yes, these are BASDB and BASDBTEST databases.
You are not forced to use MySQL - you can also use Derby.

Are you talking about running MySQL as Windows service? If not, then which service flag do you mean? And what sort of differences did you notice? There shouldn't be any differences in Aware IM behaviour whether MySQL runs as a service or not.
