Hi
I have uploaded a new BSV to a SQL server database, but it has failed to upgrade the nw field modifications - new fields and existing changes.
Is this a problem feature of Version 3 and if so is there a work around?
Thanks
New BSV not Upgrading database
Hi,
Sounds like your publish didn't complete properly. Did it look as if everything worked properly but didn't?
A few thoughts:
Have you checked your logs?
Did you publish from the server or import the new version from inside the application?
Have you tried re-publishing it?
Do you have enough memory allocated to the Config tool?
Pete

Thanks for the suggestions.
I simply uploaded fromwithin the standard menu ... upload new version.
No I did not check the logs .... would not know which one to look at.
What I did do was reexport a bsv from the Configtool with acosmetic change and then reload .. it then did effect most of the changes - except one.
I also do not know how to allocate more memory to the config tool. But learning these finer things fast now.
The lesson I learned is not to trust this Aware IM upgrade process 100% and to do independent checks.
