Execute a process from within a form object

Is there a way to execute a process from within a form object other then adding a valid action that would be invoked manually by the user?

I have a form that I need to run a process from if a piece of data changes. Can I execute a process within a rule or some other method?

Yes, you can run a process as part of a rule in the BO as long as it does not involve the user interface. There was a thread about that issue recently.
