No the libary app but I will take a look at this now! I have been looking at the CRM Sample although this is single email sending!

Hi

Being I am only on version 2.3 I have gone through the library app sample and fail to see the email logging!

Graham,

I began using AwareIM well after V2.3, so I have no way to help you. I have no idea what the sample apps were at that time. The live sample Library application at http://www.awareim.com/sample_applications.html shows this.

In my opinion, converting to V4 is a 'must'.

A bit painful but I have now completed the upgrade! I have also looked through the new version of the Library app and still a bit unclear what I need to do?

I am not sending out individual emails I always be sending out hundreds at a time!

Where to start to even look at configuring processing outbound / inbound email!

First step is to do this before you process "hundreds at a time".

Have you successfully sent or received email in AwareIM at all?

Yes At present I can send an email to a staffmember on creation of a new company.
I can also send out an email to the contacts (only 2 in the database at present) by clicking on a button and running a process to find the needed contacts and send the notification to.

Once you are able to process one at a time (let's call this process: SendOne), one way to process "hundreds at a time" is to call SendOne from a process called SendMany. SendMany would FIND the appropriate instances of the BO and call SendOne.

Once you are able to get the SendOne & SendMany processes to send messages properly, then you can easily add in logging of the Sent messages.

Use CREATE in the SendMany process. The BO created could be something like the OutGoingEmail BO in the Library app.
