I have setup a menu item with the following URL:
http://appsrv01:9080/AwareIM/logonOp.aw ... TCCustomer
When I run the business space and hoover over the menu item I see the following URL:
http://appsrv01:9080/AwareIM/logonAdmin.aw#
Why isn't my URL represented the way I entered it? Secondly, how do I get this to work so that it will take me to the specific business space I have paramertized above?
Menu URL item
rgates,
In a V4 menu, I put in a URL with the format:
http://999.999.99.999:8080/AwareIM/logo ... in=Example
and when I ran it from the menu, it connected just fine -- it came to the user name & password screen.
When I tried to open your link in a browser window (not from an AwareIM menu), it could not find the link.
In V4, I do not see a link when I hover over a horizontal menu using my Firefox browser.

Possibly IE issue
I am running IE 7. I have confirmed that the link works fine by pasting in browser URL. It is only from the menu within AwareIM that I see the problem.
I don't have Firefox installed and it isn't what we have standardized.
Any other ideas?

rgates,
I just tested in IE7 & was able to connect to my URL, but not to
http://appsrv01:9080/AwareIM/logonOp.aw ... TCCustomer
In both cases, I used the "open in a new window" option.
Is there any security reason I should not be able to paste the above link in a browser and get to an AwareIM menu?

Note external
The reason you can hit it from the outside is because it is a internal site. Secondly, I tried the http://www.cnn.com link and it worked fine. I then when back and pasted in the original link and it failed. I then copied the link out and pasted it into a new window and it worked fine.
What I have figured out is that it seems to be ignoring the domain setting. If I login with my credentials, it is taking me to the default business space. I even changed the domain name to the sample application you gave me called "Tom".

Check your link
Could you please confirm that when you click on your link that the dialog for login and password is taking you into the correct Business Space.

Thought
What I wanted you to do was to confirm that the login/password dialog that you said you got when you tested w/your example business space was really taking you into the example business space once you login or whether it was taking you to the default business space. Make sense?
rgates,
You are correct.
It takes me to the login screen, but not to the proper domain when I used the format:
http://999.999.99.999:8080/AwareIM/logo ... in=Example
I then pasted the target URL into http://tinyurl.com/ and used that in the AwareIM menu. With the TinyURL, the proper domain was opened.
I'm guessing that AwareIM does not like the ? for some reason.
