Pages for mobile devices

I want to set up an application that will work in normal browsers with full size screens but also make pages available for PDA phone devices. For these I'd like to optimise the layout for small screens. How does AwareIM handle/allow for this sort of thing?

It seems like you might need to have different Visual Perspectives for viewing via PDAs vs. full screens.
