SQL Form Query tab

I am able to write a complex SQL statement joining two BO's both of persistance Database: AWARE IM Automatic using the SQL query tab. However when I switch one of the BO's to a BO of Database: Existing external, I cannot get it to work. It can't find the BO's. I notice that when you create an Existing external BO it creats a table called BusinessSpace_m_BO in my SQL database built around the keys that I defined. Does that have to be incorporated in some way? Can I create my own SQL statements using an external BO? If I use the simple form or rule form tabs there is no issue with the existing external BO.

Any help appreciated.

The problem could be that your native Aware IM objects and existing tables are located in different databases and I don't think you can mix tables from different databases within the same query. Is this what you are trying to do or I am misunderstanding the question?
