I am trying to get my head around this one.
If an item in a choice list is deleted for some reason( like an administrator wants it to be unavailable to the users for some reason), that means the next time an object is edited, the attribute will change to a blank or the next one in the list if it contained the one that was deleted.
This will happen without the user realizing it, rendering the data in this object inaccurate to how it was first taken on.
Has anyone got some thoughts on this. Maybe the answer is to make the choice list reference a dedicated table for the choice list with a suspend box, so the item is never deleted just hidden from the user. This way if object is edited it will retain its data.
Any Ideas ?
