I often come across a situation where i am in the midst of a Procedure or form and need to refer to, or even create an object elsewhere in the BSV.
As AwareIM tests the integrity of a construct when saving, it will often not allow a partially completed construct to be saved. This contruct then must be deleted or completed as a dummy or semantically incorrect construct in order to be able to move around the BSV.
At other times I realise that I need to create an object such as a BO or a report to refer to as I am creating or editing an object. This again means I need to fin d a way to put the dialog I am working in on hold while I go and do something elsewhere in the BS
However If the dialogs were non modal (ie allow other menus or Business objects to be opened and manipulated) then this would increase flexibility and reduce frustration that may be caused.
Any incomplete objects would still be picked up when they are closed.
