I'd appreciate your help folks...my aware system's performance is totally unpredictable. Sometimes response is sub 2 second, other times it is > 3 minutes. There seems to be no pattern to it - I can achieve these unpredictable results hitting save multiple times on the same form, same data.

Sometimes aware seems to just time out and hang.

I have a dedicated Linux server running Aware and MySQL with Windows clients.

Any suggestions on how I should approach performance monitoring and tuning? Any tricks you can let me in on?

The biggest issue is fine-tuning memory usage. It probably explains all the problems you are having. This forum has a lot of useful hints about memory tuning in Aware IM. There is also some info in the Installation Guide
