The following rule was applied to an OB;

PROTECT Payment FROM ALL EXCEPT Administrator AND System

But another access level (staff) could edit the OB but not create a new instance of the OB. Is that a bug or am I missing something with the PROTECT function? Heading towards the user manual

Another access level should not be able to edit the object. Please check that the rule is actually activated.

Rule is executed then shows in the log -Access is allowed

Most likely Aware IM thinks that the access level is System. Try to remove System from the list for the sake of experiment and see if it's going to be different/
