Dynamic search/Query

Ok before I dive into some Aware "way of thinking" I thought I would ask the following scenario;

Three OB's
Customer
CustomerType
SaleMember

I would like user to select(from a drop down list) an attribute let say SalesPersonName then Select another attribute let say CustomerType and search

Any recommendations on how to accomplish this dynamic query?

I would like to know the answer to this too. It seems as an easy and intuitive way to make the user find the right cutomers!

(Today they have to type manually, but as it shows they type using * and so and then it doesn´t work)
