Cant Use Word Templates

Hi I am trying to use an MS word document for a template for a report. I cannot seem to import it. When I hit the import button, the document is greyed out. Is it possible to use word templates? If so, why can't I do it?

Yes you can though but the box you have your app on needs to have word installed.

I do have word installed, but I am running a Macintosh. Do you think this is a problem?

Yes.
It is just a standalone Mac, that I am using at home.

Word documents are not supported on a Mac or Linux server. Try using Excel, plain text or HTML documents
