Empty Query in Testing Mode

This could be a clue, but before we investigate could you please confirm that this print out happens EVERY TIME you run a query that returns no result?

I confirm that I had the Tomcat log enties 2 times today, the query with Version 3 is always empty.
2 Miuntes ago a ran the Customer query again without any entry in the Tomcat log...

Hi,

I decided to see if the problem occurs on different business spaces and it does. Below is the Tomcat output when I uploaded a new version and then ran. Search Object/all objects/RegularUser. There were a bunch of repetitive errors when creating the new version but nothing about the blank return on searching for all objects. The Aware Server output looked totally normal with no mention of the process even running.

If it helps, I don't have a problem giving you access to my server to check it all out for yourselves. Please pm or email me if you wish to go this route.

Did you rename or change the directory of AwareIM under webapps on the Windows 2003 server. as this produces a similar result.

Hi,
This might be a valuable clue as I am experiencing this problem and I do not use the default AwareIM directory name on my Windows 2003 server. I am doing a version upgrade tonight so I will try it out before I rename the folder back to my desired name and report back.

It appears from the above sample that the AwareIm directory has been replaced with Iport, which will create this problem if the Aware_Ext.js file is not changed as well

FINALLY! This explains it.

IF YOU RENAME AWARE IM DIRECTORY YOU NEED TO SEARCH FOR "AwareIM" IN AwareIM/Tomcat/webapps/AwareIM/config/aware_ext.js

AND REPLACE WITH THE NAME OF YOUR DIRECTORY OTHERWISE NEW QUERY INTERFACE WILL NOT WORK
