I am beginning to use incoming email notification & noticed that BCC and CC info is retained in the ReceivedEmail BO.

Are you any closer to supporting BCC and CCs on outgoing emails?

The feature is there. CC and BCC are part of the IncomingEmail notification. I can't remember when it was done but it is certainly in 3.0. Sorry for not having reported it in this thread.

I would definitely like to get this feature in place as it is a limiting factor with outgoing emails. So I am really looking forward to this

By the way, Aware IM does support sending e-mails to multiple recipients - for example, if you do something like this:

FIND ALL Recipient
SEND MyOutgoingEmail TO Recipient

Aware IM will send the e-mail to all recipients found by the FIND action. If only one recipient is found he will be on the "To" list. If more than one recipients are found they will all be on the "BCC" list.

Perhaps this feature alleviates the need for explicit CC and BCC fields?

The problem with this method, is the receiving party does not know if the email is directed at them or just CC'ed to them, In both cases the email will reflect "TO". This is confusing

Secondly, the receiving party will not know of the CC event

Also, when there is a reply to your ougoing email, sometimes the person wants to also copy the CC persons as well.

So I think CC and BCC are at least needed

BCC and CC are now included in build 1182 per:

It's documented on page 260 of the V4.5 User Guide.
