Can anyone help me think through how you might be able to give a user the ability to have saved searches: saving the criteria used for a given search to a name that is then recallable by the user so they don't have to enter the criteria each time they want to do the same search???
Yes, there is a feature called "User defined queries" where users can define a query and save it under a certain name. This feature is only available in the Developer Edition.
What if you used the solution from the uniqeness.bsv ? There you do save the query parameters, but only temporarily. You'd only need to add the ability to enter a name for the parameter set and let the uswer chose from the so generated list when re-running a query.
