I am going slowly crazy trying to set up my home server to serve my first app with AwareIM (which is great by the way).
I have dynamic dns from my dsl isp and my router is set to send all 8080 requests to a static IP that is assigned to my server machine running Ubuntu 6.10 desktop.
All of this works perfectly from my Mac OSX 10.4.
But I simply cannot get my Ubuntu box to respond.
I realise this isn't an Aware issue, but I would appreciate any thoughts from anyone on this.
