Hello!
I am developing the Application that doesn't have "initial" 'Guest' mode.
Therefore, the very first page user sees on the screen after pointing the
web browser on '...localhost:8080/AwareIM/logon.jsp' has only
login dialog window and nothing else. The Administrator of the Application
created the instance of the Guest object with login/password as "Guest"/"Guest".
In other words once anybody logins into the system with these credentials,
the system starts to operate in Guest mode with corresponding Access
level, visual perspective, self-register option, etc.
Could you please let me know if it is possible to modify the very first
screen or page (with only login dialog window) the way it would also have
some additional textual and graphical information?
If it is possible then what should I do?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Angarato.
First Page Design.
On http://www.hiden.org/awareim/tips-n-tri ... er-buttons I've written a short HowTo that describes how one can (and should) modify the AwareIM logon procedure in order to disable the browser's back button.
Extending this with your layout shouldn't be a big deal.
Hope it helps,
Hubertus

Dear Hubertus,
Thank you very much for your hint! I just simply hoped that there is a way
to modify the content of index.html file from within the Aware IM IDE.
I think it would be great if Aware IM team implements this in the future.
To my mind it would be also great if Aware IM team adds more
instruments or flexibility towards the overall Application Visual User
Interface.
Thanks again,
Angarato.
