I have ALWAYS run across times where I edit a screen (form) and the SAVE button is dimmed - hence a Ctrl-S doesn't work.
I'm seeing this now regularly - probably 50% of the time I'm editing forms.
I just cannot save a form because Eclipse thinks nothing is changed.
The ONLY way I can save is to Alt-Q (put into test) which will prompt to save the form.
Then immed. take it out of test to continue work.
In bld 3249, I can open a form section make 1 change and it seems to save.
I just tried 6 diff. things and all allowed the save.
Then I got off track and tweaked some other display things and it wouldn't save - but the Alt-Q worked.
anyone have weird saving issues in Config Tool - v9 ?

ok, I just found 1 anomaly - there has to be more.
I went back to that same form and needed to drag the dotted line in a cell that had 2 fields.
2nd field was too close to the first.
I dragged it and the form knew it was dirty and needed saving - but the Ctrl-S would not save.
I went to another form cell and toggled the "show label" and then I could Save.

Re: anyone have weird saving issues in Config Tool - v9 ?
I have noticed some strange behaviour.....
Changes not sticking.... Entering Icon details and then they disappear. Make changes to a Form that don't stick.
It is annoying but just do not have time at the moment to spend on a reproducable demo to send to Awaresoft.
Also, Ctrl-S behaves differently to Version 8.8. Need to explicitly click the Save and Save All buttons rather than Ctrl+S twice

Bug related to saving a form
In bld 3249 (V9), I turned in a bug today.
I have a Form w/10 sections.
Have only noticed this on one section - Main.
I have a field I tried to remove (I click the cell and change to Empty), and it removes it.
The "*" appears in the Tab, so Eclipse knows its "dirty" and needs to be saved.
(Even if I Alt-Q, it will ask to save changes for that item)
BUT it will never save.
It will go into test leaving the "*" on the tab (of course, its done this for years when you have 3-4+ tabs that all need saving - I think he's not waiting for the event correctly and moving it to Test before all tabs got saved. But I digress)
Shows no errors anywhere.
It just will not save if I remove the field... but if I make other changes to the field and leave it on the form, it operates as expected and Saves.
Sent Vlad the BSV so he can debug it.
Have never done a Ctrl+S twice.

Well done, been pulling my hair out on this one for a while and blaming the Eclipse dog
