Text alignment when using Number as Attribute

Post by numberz »

Hi and TIA,
So, when I align all text to be 'Left of control (Right aligned), all is good except with a Number attribute.
The text displays on top instead of to the left.
Thank you.

Are you sure its actually the number attribute and not the label i.e try changing label to a shorter text and see if you experience the same problems?

Have you tried making the form a little wider to see what affect that might have?

Yes and I've even changed the attribute from Number to Text and all problems went away.
It is happening with the Number attribute.

Have you checked the developer console if it has something to do with CSS?
Number input fields have a different classname than plain text.

Can you share the BSV with us?

I have not seen that issue, but to confirm, if you are in the form editor and SHIFT-click on the column you will get properties for that column. 3 things to check, 1). What is the label width? It defaults to 90, but for testing make it larger, like 200. 2). There is an option to display label to LEFT. make sure that is check, and 3). Forget the wording but something like display size as defined or all available space and change it to defined.

Let me know if this fixes it.

Hello Everyone and thank you.
I'm very happy to report that just for the heck of it, I went and downloaded the Webview2 again and found that there was an update.
Then I did a ctrl+F5 and all was fine. I was really troubled by this. Not only that but, I couldn't figure out why these new styles looked so lousy! They are all looking great now.
But thanks for your help and suggestions, I appreciate them all.
Regards and thanks,
