Replatforming the AwareIM Server with a separate db server

This is probably a question for support but I would appreciate anyone's experience.

I am going to provision a new server machine for the AwareIM server that connects to an existing MS SQL Server database, which is not changing. Here are my presumed steps and questions, and I'm skipping the boring stuff:

1. Provision the server.
2. Install AwareIM.
3. During the installation, point it to the existing basdb database. I anticipate that trying to run this instance of AwareIM will fail on the license.
4. Get Support to transition the license from the existing server to the new server and install the new Product Key.
5. My new AwareIM instance should now start and my old instance will now not restart.

Is this right so far?

Now my question is when I run the configurator on the new server with the proper license, I should see everything just as it was. There is one BSV and I should see it in the BSV list.

Does this all sound correct?
