Start New memory Thread for EDIT BO

Question for Support: Would it be possible to provide a NEW THREAD option to the EDIT or VIEW commands to initiate a new memory thread when editing a BO from a process? As it is, it seems a new thread is only launched when using the EDIT menu command but not from a process. Here's a use case. I want to use a process to call a specific form based on an attribute of a BO but do not want the form in the same thread thereby having a modal presentation. This would provide considerable flexibility.
