Calendar Presentation and Speed

Hello,

I have a BO containing about 300 Records staring in Oct 2006 until now. When displaying them in a Calendar View including shourtcut fields to other BO's then it's quite slow. I noticed that MySQL executed about 800 queries in order to display the calendar.
To me it seems that all data gets requested when preparing the view instead of requesting the data as needed. What I'm trying to say is that it seems that AwareIM collects all 300 records including the shortcut values before it can display anything. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be better (if possible) to request values based on the selected date range in the calendar ?

This is the current limitation of the calendar view. We will be looking at ways to improve it.

If you can get rid of the shortcuts somehow it could make it much faster.
