Moving Panel Operations within a Toolbar Menu

Post by kklosson »

What's the deal with organizing menu items within a panel operations menu? Within an individual menu item, the sub-dialog offers no way to organize the items. While I can move things around a bit, there is no rational way to simply put items in a specific order.

You must have paid extra. Here's all I can see:

I'm running 5120 x 1440. I'll try some lower resolutions.

I tried all kinds of lower resolutions and restarted the config tool each time. I also executed resetWindow.bat. I cannot see the up/down buttons on that dialog.

Can you provide your screen resolution and any other tips?

Okay, I went down to 1024 x 768 and could see the buttons. Once I returned to max resolution, I could still see them. I moved what I needed, now moving on...

Sheesh.

The other way to resolve this is to reduce the size of your fonts inside AwareIM. There is an option for this in one of the menus.

has nothing to do with resolutions of your display device.
has everything to do with the non-default typeface/size you changed in the Config Tool.
/View/Customize Font
then executing /AwareIM/Bin/fontCustom.bat which updates the CSS for Eclipse

Of course, doing that leads to a bunch of messed up dialog boxes which have been discussed on the Forum and unfortunately, have not been corrected for years.
