Is it possible to display a line item on an order in the form of a grid

Example

Item1 Red Skirt Size1 Size2 Size3 Size4 etc
Qty Ord 2 1 2 3
Item2 Blue Skirt Size1 Size2 Size3 Size4 etc
Qty Ord 2 1 1 1

There is a presentation option for reference attribute to show related object (line item) using its own form. You need to create a form for the Line Item object and lay out attributes on this form as a grid. Then you need to specify that this form should be used for the presentation of line items on the Order form.
