With the Modern v Classic panel layout the following settings (which have confused me endlessly) now thoroughly perplex me.
I assumed that the outer margin related to how the panel is positioned relative to other panels while the inner margin related to how the objects contained within the panel related to the panel. This does not appear to be the case though.
If I alter the inner margins to be 0,0,0,0
then the two panels move closer together
Rather than the elements within the panel moving further to the edge of the panel.
If I attempt to modify the Outer Margins I am only able to modify the top and bottom margins.

Re: VP Panel Margins Inner v Outer cont'd
Had to continue to second message due to three file limit to posts.
If I modify the Inner Margin then this also modifies the outer margin There is no (non CSS) way to modify the positioning of items inside the panels.
