Changing References

Post by tkilshaw »

So I add an attribute to Account called Trades that is a one to many reference and tell it to create a matching stttibute called Account. I set the Trades to peer.

Later when I decide that Account shown own Trades I can't see a way to change that frm Peer. The requisite radio button is greyed out and unresponsive. So I have to delete the Tades attribute and start again.

Am I missing how to do this, or is this a feature, or perhaps a bug?

thanks,

Terry

Terry,

this is the correct behaviour - at the moment you have to re-create the attribute.

Perhaps the manual should make this clearer.

I developed my prototype making all references peer to peer, thinking that I could easily go back later and change them, once I'd figured out how everything hung together.

You are right, we'll clarify it in the manual.
