I have an application using Derby that is just starting. The application holds many file attachements and pictures and will support about 50 users uploading reports and inspection photos every day. The estimate is that the database size will grow over the next 12 months to potentially exceed 30 to 40 GB.
Is this an issue for Aware? What pitfalls should I watch out for? Can I create a process to Archive data from Aware as a management tool for managing database size?
Thanks for your insight.

Shouldn't be a problem in theory provided that you have enough disk space to hold this data. You probably need to have double this size (80G - 100G) available because Derby will add its own overhead to the data.
Backing up Derby is simple - just backup the DATA directory located underneath the Aware IM root directory.
