java.lang.Stack.OverflowError in ConfigTool

Post by rbross »

Hello,

I added another Tab to a VP I created. This Tabs Layout is a Responsive Nested grid. It is split into a LeftSide6 Container and RightSide6 Container. under each side, I added a query with the default set to view the Edit Form when a record is selected under the query.
I only added a few queries for testing purposes.
I saved the VP and got the error "java.lang.Stack.OverflowError" and now nothing will display for the VP in the ConfigTool.

I exported the bsv as XML and removed the 6 from the container names thinking this might be the issue and reimported the XML, but nothing changed. I still get the error when opening the VP in the ConfigTool!!!!

This app is using 8.3 build 2629 and MS-SQL.

Any have any idea how to resolve this???

Just a thought.

How much memory have you got allocated to the Configurator?
Cheers,

I removed the code from the XML and re-imported it and it is OK now.
I have 1024 on the server and 2048 on my local machine. I still got the error on my local machine with more config memory.
