For those of you from the last conference, you may remember us pushing for the next conference to be in Barcelona - the main reason for that was to give Vlad a chance to be near his beloved Barca futbol team and perhaps take in a match at Camp Nou.

But, based on the scheduled days of the conference, he can't attend the game on Sunday (conf. start day) and they are away from home the next week.
Which leaves the UEFA Champions League matches - which happen to be having a Quarter-Final Stage Match on Tuesday (conf last day) and Wed.

At this point, ANY Champions League match would be fantastic, but 2 Spain teams have already crashed out this week - both teams in nearby Madrid.
Barca plays Today, Wednesday - but has a chance to crash out as well (and even if qualifying may draw an away match).
Luckily, nearby Porto has made it thru, but if they get an away match, then 30 minutes away might as well be 3000.

By Wed night, Barcelona will be in or out of the last 8... with the Quarter-Final Draw happening this Friday - 15 March (12:00CET).

(PS _ the conference being held 2 days earlier or 2 days later would have made a huge difference - the Gods are cruel indeed)
