Item Display Rules in Queries and Styles do not play well

I have many styles that are just RIGHT Align so my queries have numeric fields aligned properly. If a query has an Item Display Rule that changes the background color of a row, all cells that have any style assigned do not have the bg color changed. This makes a query look a tad strange.

Is there a fix for this?
