First up, the tree functionality works well. I have a business object which stores the organisational structure for an organisation. Using the tree and expand features, I can get the organisational units / sub-units to display as a tree.
The issue I have is to do with its presentation. Because I am using one business object to store the hierarchy, the structure displays in neat columns WITH COLUMN HEADINGS. I don't want the column headings to display in the tree, but I do need labels for the attributes for the maintenance forms for the business object.
I want the tree to look as follows.
Finance Department
Budget Section
Human Resources Department
Leave Section
Payroll Section
What is happening is that every 2nd line has the column headings (in this case, Name).
Name
Finance Department
Name
Budget Section
Any suggestions on how to get rid of the attribute labels from the tree, but still have them for the maintenance forms?
Using trees to display hierarchical data
Re: Using trees to display hierarchical data
I found it. There's a setting deep down under Display As --> more settings.
