I use jasper with jasperserver, so there is no need for an external program. It's a url with parameters to open a report. Can be the user that send the email or the one who will receive it...
Of course if it's someone that is not a regular user, i would need to do what you did...

I don't know if it would help, but I have one particular case that I use a VIEW as a business Object
It's a business object just to read some data... And it's like you said... I have SUM and stuff like that in this VIEW...

It's a big query with UNIONS that result in a virtual BO... I can accomplish this with stored procedures or even with VIEW.
But it's the third time I update a version and forgot to create the procedures
I just wanted to know if it is possible to put a query like this directly in the application

Support, I have another comment about mobile. Please don't force the left/top/right menu frames in the mobile version in v7. In v6, if i use a mobile VP the menu / menubutton is forced i.e it's not possible to disable it completely and use a 100% custom menu. Say i wanted to use this menu in v6: ht...
