I think the ability to provide an "Alias" to an Object and also to its attributes would be a good solution for this. I have a similar problem where the object name and attribute name don't make sense to the user when setting up user defined queries and reports

This link provided me with a good understanding of what a P3P compact policy is all about http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/javascript/2002/10/04/p3p.html To create the policy, somewhere in the article there is a link to IBMs free P3P policy creator. Download the program and create your P3P policy. (i...

Document Attributes - Pitch in Request

Hi all When uploading a File (Document) type, there is no way of knowing the File Size, File Name, or File Extension in the object. If you are doing any document storage or document handling application or special rules on the document, this information becomes important Support have quoted me to de...

When placing an Aware Form in a IFrame located on a third party site, the application almost all of the time will not run due to a "Session Timeout". This is due to the default settings in IE and Safari, not to allow third party cookies . FF is okay as it allows third party cookies by default The pr...

Hi Tom Yes that did solve the problem, and by the way the problem also exists in the Safari browser. So in both instances the user has to know about setting the session option. Problem: what happens if the user does not know this ? for example I have an Aware feedback form embedded in an Iframe on a...

It might have nothing to do with the port, did you restart your servers ? This will normally resolve the issue, rather than changing the port address

somewhere in your calendar query there is an option to use your own rule rather than the default rule,

using the VIEW in your custom rule will suppress the pop up and take it to a tab, which will then let you access your process

This is a limitation when the process is in a Pop Up window state.
No Other processes can be initiated or reference objects edited.

Its a damn pity, but a way around this would be to take it to ground by using a VIEW. You may have to specify the form also ie VIEW MyObject USING .....

Hi Tom The basics of the process is as follows: The rule lets a user create a "Lead" and then at the same time verify that the Contact Person in the Lead doesn't exist in the Contact object. If it does exist then the user is presented with the pick list to assign the lead to the contact. However the...

How do you prevent PICK FROM aborting other rules in process

Hi There I am using PICK FROM in a process, but in some cases the user may choose not to proceed with the Pick List, by selecting cancel. This behavior then makes the process abort. It also ignores any failure rule that I have attached in the failure rules section of the process Is there any way to g...

The problem with this method, is the receiving party does not know if the email is directed at them or just CC'ed to them, In both cases the email will reflect "TO". This is confusing Secondly, the receiving party will not know of the CC event Also, when there is a reply to your ougoing email, somet...

support indicated to me that there is a solution for this that could be developed as a plug in that can convert the html back to text for reporting

if you are interested in pursuing this I would be happy to pitch in for this feature
