Re: Error while updating external MS_SQL DB
Then as Tom suggested check all your rules on both the line item and header tables as the header will be most likely updated as well. Also check initial attribute values in case one of them is incorrect. Somewhere you must be trying to change a text value into a number attribute. Also if you turn on...

Re: Error while updating external MS_SQL DB
Are you sure your completed attribute on the line is defined as Plain Text and not Number?

Re: ►Your Feeback Please!◄ Scheduled processes
Yes that's the idea. Not sure how long your processes take to execute for you would need to add another check if they take less than a minute. Otherwise they will execute more than once a day.

Re: ►Your Feeback Please!◄ Scheduled processes
Be careful setting execution time to a specific value as I have had issues in the past of non execution due to time not matching (seconds value I guess). I have therefore had to do some workarounds.

Re: Wish List New version builds
Thanks Mark. I do something similar but a little more mechanical. Just think that AwareIM could with minimal fuss put these things in which would be of benefit to all especially those that have little IT knowledge.

Wish List New version builds
I would like when upgrading versions of AwareIM to: 1. Have ALL memory settings retained. 2. Have it prompt for web folder name and update the appropriate files accordingly. 3. Leave undeleted all files and folders within the AwareIM folder structure that start with a predetermined character naming ...

Thought - AwareIM Lite
In order to spread the availability and awareness of AwareIM and allow it for personal use, would you consider introducing a lite version. This could be done simply by limiting the number of BSVs, BOs, queries and processes that can be built within the Config tool. You could also limit extras such a...

Re: Custom sql query without stores procedure
Can you give a little more detail. You can connect to a SQL view using external BO and you can write quite complex SQL code within a query itself.

Re: reuse a query
One way to do it is to modify the SQL statement using the SQL form tab of the query. By modifying SQL statements you can make your queries very powerful and flexible. In this instance I assume you have an attribute to designate a manager. So you could use something like: FIND Personnel where (Logged...

Re: Mobile features of version 7.0
"To be able to display search attributes on a query display rather than have to display a search form then the query results and use filters to get where you want to." The issue for me here is the delay in displaying information on a mobile when the query results are large. So I'd like a search butt...

Re: Mobile features of version 7.0
Thanks Support. I'll put my list in general/AwareIM terms. Basically I would like the mobile version of AwareIM to look and operate as a true mobile application. This will hopefully be achieved by moving to the new toolset. I would like the following: Good looking themes. Place a menu that fills the...

Re: Average of Two different records
I thought about summing both 6 months totals and then dividing by 12 for manually doing the average, but it actually may not be a full 12 months. What do you mean it may not be a full 12 months? A month of zero value should be included in the average so why would you not divide by 12? Or are you sa...

Support can you tell us yet if such things as mobile functionality and Gnatt charts will be separate licence add ons or with the change to the new product will everything be under the one licence?

Re: Aware's Reporting - Jasper Reports upgrade for next rele
Yuri that's similar to what I do currently with Microsoft reporting services. Ben yes the SQL statement is the hardest issue for some. In the statement you have to join the tables knowing how AwareIm works with its rel tables etc. In other words build the joins manually. It's quite easy for those wh...
