Running a process from a form
We have a process that kicks off from a form. If we use a button then it works fine, using as follows: <button type="button" onclick="AwareApp.startProcessFromForm('ViewMasterData', 'new_tab', this, true)" ><font color="#0A5083" size="-20"><b>view</b></button> BUT if we just use a hyperlink as follo...

Thanks. FYI for others, we solved this using Support's suggestion plus some more. Two panels in a VP, in vertical. The top panel is a search form. The bottom panel is the search results. The User can search and filter in the top panel, viewing the results in the bottom panel. On the bottom panel we ...

Allow User to update an attribute in this BO called Status eg Status=Inactive 3. This will update ALL instanc...

How do you delete a BO created by using WSDL and "Disco
Hi When trying to use another systems web service I used the "Discover..." button on a WSDL URL and it created a bunch of BOs. Actually it was a big WSDL and it created about 50 BOs of which I don't want most of them. But Aware will not let me delete them, it gives the error: "Business object Import...

Hi Tom It causes an error regardless of if there is content in the attribute or not. Just to be clear... it's a Plain Text Attribute that is set to "HTML Format" with the editor enabled. That causes the failure (not an HTML attribute with HTML tags in it). Also, I did some further testing and discov...

HTML plain text attribute disables other items on page
Hi I have encountered a problem as follows: We have a form with a large HTML attribute ( it's used to store notes), when anything overlays on the top of the attribute it's functionality is disabled I.e. It just doesn't work. For example, if a top bar menu rolls over the HTML box, any menu items that...

A small "trap for young players" to be Aware of (pun intended)... Aware will have problems with the double apostrophe required by Tom's solution when using the html tag <img src=" Therefore I had to create a SystemSetting attribute to store the Apostrophe and add it that way. I did try with the ` (i...
