Hi, I know it's a year on from the original post - but if any new users are reading this thread, just thought you'd like to know that The import of durations in V4 Build 1151 works fine PROVIDED that your Durations are in Milliseconds. I had to do a bit of data massaging in Microsoft Excel to get it...

Thanks Pete, I did a bit more reading and came up with a different solutiion. Since they will be coming via a members website which has already read the cookie, I can simply do a standard loginOp.aw?[name-value pairs]. i just need to write a proc to interrogate the members BO for the correct info. Writing and reading cookies

Does anyone know how to write and then read cookies in awareIM. Some of our members are quite old and not very computer savvy. They only need access to their personal data so they can change it from time to time (addresses telephone numbers etc) So it would be good to use a (heavily protected) Membe...

Interestingly enough, Support - when I roll the mouse over "Today" in the calendar control it shows me the correct time with the word spacebar in brackets after it. so clearly, the current time is being retrieved somewhere in the logic of the calendar control. Trouble is - pressing the spacebar simp...

I should add - just in case Aware-Support are monitoring this post -that if a field is defined as a timestamp - Putting an icon next to the field (which it does - the calendar control) that doesn't actually put the full TIMESTAMP in it is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I'f I'd have want...

Yep Tom, that's about it. Ideally it would be one button and a rule which says "If startime is not defined put the current time in starttime else put the current time in stoptime. I was about to start researching this when I spotted this topic if there's the possibility of a pre-designed image/icon/...

This really is a BIG issue for me. The whole purpose of my eval was to create a flight logging system for my gliding club and was going great guns I want an non computer literate member to be able to press an icon and have the system insert the start TIME of a flight - then press it again when the a...

inserting references dynamically

I have form to add flights to a dialy flight logging sheet. There can be two pilots in one aircraft P1 and P2. My form does a dynamic lookup on the membership number of both P1 and P2 (both Number attributes) and displays their names and some other flying related data which I won't bore you with. (t...

Me again, I've imported the bulk of my data over from access - no problems. But now I have some additional data from an online database which I need to include in my all singing all dancing new members database. I've added new attributes to the BO to receive the new data. Is there a way I can now im...
