LIST_Table in MS Word
Right out of the User's Guide....
<<LIST_TABLE(Candidate.HighSchool,’Name’)>>
Can anyone advise why the above tag is not acceptable to the compiler? It seems to be squawking about what is used for quotes, though I've tried just about everything.

Thanks. I believe you've answered my question. The report formatter seems designed to construct classic banded reports with an occasional embedded report for child tables (invoice type). My report would employe probably several embedded reports and just to add them, I would need more space than the ...

Designing complex reports
Still on trial license and I'm just getting into the report designer. My need is to print a report of a primary object with about 100+ attributes. At times, I will want to print small lists of related objects, obviously using an embedded report. The problem I am seeing it that in the designer, I hav...

Thanks. My purpose is about that simple. At some point, the user performs a certain function. When that is complete, I want to set their system access to 'No' and log them out because they're done. I've tried it your way without success. Is there another action I must do to commit the change to the ...

Displaying an Object list in a form
I have a form with a large number of tabs that will need to be scrolled. It will be best to leave my form width blank so the form expands to the screen width. Same thing for separators - I leave the width blank and they expand to the width of the screen. But an object list placed on the form with no...

Using SET action
I've been trying to use the SET action in a process and haven't gotten past the sentax check. So far, the examples in the User's guide just don't work. What I want to so is to set an attribute value and commit to the database. The object is already open for editing. Secondly, I want to log the user ...

Solved - looks like a bit of a bug
Here's the problem that caused me about 2 hours of t-shooting... Object has two forms - could be that even with one form you could duplicate this. Form has multiple sections. On one section, I have two Separators. The first Separator had no Items in it and was followed immediately be a second Separa...

Opject's form will no longer display from a query
Odd, suddenly, for one particular Object, no matter what query I use and no matter what access level I have, the queries have become inert. I can't open the object from any query. I've looked at everything I can imagine - no reason why. I have an Edit Object action. I have two forms for this obect -...

Search and results on same page - I'm struggling
I'd like to have a page within a visual perspective that has a search form across the top (single row), with a few drop-downs, and a search button. I'd like the results to display below the search for while keeping the search form present for further searches. I can't seem to do that. Also, when I c...

Icon Display Rules
Near as I can tell, this rule editor works a bit differently than others. I would expect to enter a complete expression in the condition line, but the editor doesn't allow that, even though it helps you build such an expression.

End-user document management
I have read the User's Guide regarding end-user document management. It refers to using the “Manage Documents” and “Run User Defined Document” menu items. I am using the trial software and I see that this feature exists only in the Developer version which I will need for my implementation. But here ...
