Within 1 date how are they sorted?
If there are 2 items have the same time, how will they be sorted?
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks Hubertus! It sure seems like Aware IM should be able to provide some sort of function to work around the limitations of Derby & provide non-case sensitive searches. If logic like that describribed on the post can do it, I would think that somehow a function could be designed to work around it...

How are Calendar objects sorted?
The User Guide does not mention how Calendar Form of Query Results are sorted. Sort order is also not an option on the screen where you define the Calendar query.
How are they sorted?
Thanks,
Tom

Order of attributes in BO -- alpha vs. "logical"
I'm curious if anyone else is frustrated by the fact that you can not define the order of attributes in a BO in the main BO screen. Normally when I'm designing a layout of a BO, I do so in way that is "logical" from a data point of view. In most cases, that "logical" order would then be best for a d...

Running AwareIM as a Windows Service
Page 7 of the Installation Guide describes running AwareIM as a Windows Service.
Can anyone help me understand the circumstances that would merit running AwareIM as a Windows Service? As you can probably tell, I have no experience with Windows Services whatsoever.
Thanks,
Tom

case sensitive searches -- workaround?
I understand that searches of a Derby database are case sensitive.
Does anyone have a workaround so that you can do non-case sensitive searching of a Derby database?
Thanks!

Calendar formatting options request on Day view
I have 2 different applications where I need to put events on a calendar for a given day, but the hour has no meaning. I know I could list these events in other ways, but a calendar view would be best in both cases. It would be helpful to have a few additional features to the calendar functions: 1- ...

Export and Print sort orders not consistent with the screen
After creating a query & linking it to a Menu item on a VP, I ran the query in test mode & sorted the results by clicking on a column heading. When I clicked on the export icon & print icon, the results did not sort the same way as the data was presented on the screen after I had clicked on a column...

Is there an example of the attributes displayed in a Tree in any of the samples?

URL to run AwareIM in Operations mode
Instructions say to use http://serverName:8080/AwareIM/logonOp.jsp to login when in the Operations Mode.
Can /AwareIM/ be changed to a different folder name on a hosted server?
I would prefer that the name "Aware IM" as the programming tool be invisible to my users -- even in the URL.
Thanks,
Tom

Error message received during import -- PLEASE HELP !!
I created a BO by connecting to a MySql DB, learning the attributes, then persisting the DB as a Derby DB. When trying to import data from a CSV file into the new BO, I received the following error message: "Internal error. Error reading business object. Comparisons between INTEGER and CHAR are not ...
