It turns out one of my attribute fields had <<>> & no field name & that must have caused the error.
Seems like the error message could be more intuitive & that the bands resetting to visible should be fixed.
Thanks,
Tom

I later tried to make all bands but the Detail band invisible. The Detail band is now 792 pixels & all others are now 0 pixels & invisible. I still get the same error message. It seems strange that after I click Save & Close from the Report Design screen after setting the visibility, etc of each ban...

Syntax Error at token "." (column 2). when creati
In trying to use a GIF image on a report, then laying attributes on top, I got the following error message when I clicked on "create": Document Template Error Syntax Error at token "." (column 2). If not, is that a feature that you might consider in the future.
Thanks,
Tom

I understand the reason for your "lock-down" but I guess it is somewhat limiting in 2 ways: 1- I would like to set up some reference attributes like peer-to-peer, etc. that AwareIM did not set up when finding the attributes from existing MySql database. 2- I would like to follow the suggestions in t...

How can I use Access DB to create editable business objects?
I'm trialing AwareIM right now. I have a ton of existing MS Access data that will continue to be updated MS Access programs for now. My intent is to then develop newer parts of our system using AwareIM & eventually make all prior MS Access functionality part of our AwareIM system. I would like to us...
