Re: Slow email
Hi and thanks for the replies 1) Vlad - I don’t see how it can be an issue with an email provider. I have tried a MS Exchange Server, and 2 different Gmail accounts. Those have nothing to do with each other, yet I get the same results - a 12-second LAG from the time I press the “Send Email” button i...

Slow email
Close to going live with my first reasonably large AwareIM project. Got email on exchange server working with project. Looking good, except having a problem with sending email - 10 to 15 seconds-sometimes longer for a single email. Emails are simple - most always directed to one recipient. Output lo...

Re: DISCUSS: The direction of AwareIM SaaS in 2019
If your head hurts - maybe this will make you feel better. The largest SAAS provider - Salesforce - agrees scaling a saas solution is hard. So hard that they do nothing like normal databases etc. Everything is metadata. See this interesting page: https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Multi_Tenant_Ar...

I need the same. Support says only 20 on a page (presentation). I don't know what to investigate next.

Re: Google map of a group of addresses
Hope this is enough to help. Object name is Station. It only needs a value in MapAddress. 1. StationsMap - Query. showing multiple markers. 2. StationMap presentation for object Station. Nothing but a map cell in the summary of the presentation. 3. StationsMap - Query in configurator. Display Settin...

Re: Google map of a group of addresses
Thank you Mark.
Query -> Custom -> Presentation worked.
I even read this part in the manual - but somehow missed the concept. I really need to graduate from the school of hard knocks.

Re: Document Scanning from within Aware
Hi Jim, In the near future, I will have this need as well. I have used Dynamic Web Twain in an non AwareIM web project. Think I used them in a old foxpro project as well - but not sure of the vendor. Quite pleased, good support, reasonable price. I will go back and review the web project and refresh...

Get Directions Google Maps
Must you have coordinates (as opposed to address) to Get Directions on Google Maps? Map Settings - "When marker clicked..." dialog When changed from Default to Get Directions I get the error For input string: "-1#" I get this when clicking the Edit or View record operations from a query; don't get t...

Re: Format Group field on query
I agree Jaymer, this "should be there". However, Mark your suggestion worked great. Thanks. Added: font-size: 1.10em for a little size increase for the grouping total. Added: a "$" -- although I thought I had seen that "$" might be trouble - but works here. <span style=" font-size: 1.10em ; font-wei...

Format Group field on query
Group field on a query. SUM function on a currency field. I cannot get a reasonable display. I have spent hours - this is simple, surely even I can get this. ...Not so. I give. Anything other than right align or plain {value} fails for me. Tried: <p align="right">{Value}$###,###.00</p> <p align="rig...
