I am sure it would be a big project for Aware, but it does sound like the roll-out of this toolkit upgrade is much smoother then 4.x (which was badly botched by the Sencha team) and required Aware to wait for a long-delayed EXT4.2 release.

Is support for ext5 on the road map? Same client for desktop and mobile... Yippie! Not to mention a ton of other goodies.

Oh, you mean in a reference attribute? In that case - While you might not know the number of rows for a ref - at the instant execution the number of rows is ALWAYS finite and known. Requires a modified different approach, but not by much.

This might be what Tom is suggesting, but Can you create an indexed field which you control and add rules to populate it in parent and child then used that as the import child grouping? We often had to do something similar in CRM data conversions.

I don't see many bugs, but i also don't consider Bugs fixing a road map item... For me sorting this offers variety, flexibility, and look. Focusing just on charts is also a bit myopic since a fix here would also clear the path to fast & dynamic integration of other js toolkits, which is a huge win. ...

Sorry to say, I ran into an issue where Aware executes the script after the full page load, where as Goggle API wants the script fired prior to onload or jquery ready. The result is that the chart fires but all the html gets wiped out by a late document.write. There are some potential work arounds b...

you can use Google charts on a form by passing form data as a <<bo.attrib>> parameter in the advanced script. Nice flash free charting.
