(Temp Solution) until we can use PRINT in a process directly to a Printer

Create a Process

DISPLAY DOCUMENT {name_of_html_template} IN WINDOW

Then

Create a Menu Option called "Display Document" it will be in an browser window. Tell them to "right click" and select the printer locally.

the pop-up (dialog is asking to save a file)on the server asks to save "Java Printing.pdf"

Forgot to mention;

The document is of type HTML (so its an HTML report) so we need to be able to print this.

PRINT (inside a process should just push to the client side printer)

So confused why the server has a popup asking to save the file every time.

Hi, I searched the forum but could not find anyone with this issue. We have a process which PRINTS a DOCUMENT. If we login to AIM in test mode (not on the server) and start the process nothing happens. At the time we start the process the Server side has a printer dialog ? Has anyone every seen this...

Results of Tests:

Test 1: Does the Image show up inside an HTML cell in a Visual Perspective on EDIT (proof of context) = YES

Test 2: Does the image show up inside VIEW Document (HTML Report with SAME html in it) = NO

Test 3: Does it PRINT to a Printer with the signature - Testing now

We will now test in the "Visual Perspective" itself

But we know its in context because all fields work Except an Image or Picture field

Will post a TEST BSV and everyone can see more easily.

Also to clarify;

We are talking about a Document (aka Report) or Output not a Visual Perspective with an HTML cell

We just tried all mentioned options and still no image showing on VIEW Document

Weird eh!

Could you also;

Tell us the attribute type of "BO_Company.Logo_Picture"

If it is of type Picture, where are you storing the images?
