Re: PKIX path building failed.
Bingo. The intermediate certificate is often included as a separate file when you get it from your provider. Otherwise you can just download it from their website. All fixed and busy writing up notes for 10 month's time when I need to renew the cert ('cos I'll have forgotten by then.) It would seem...

It's a cheapo from https://www.ssls.com/ If memory serves, I have to create a TXT record in my service p...

Re: PKIX path building failed.
Could you please confirm that the certificate chain is valid? This tool should do the trick: (this assumes that your application is accessible from the internet) https://decoder.link/sslchecker Oftentimes when I have seen SSL certificate errors where only certain clients had problems accessing it, ...

*SOLVED* PKIX path building failed.
Anybody know what this is and how to fix? Service provider returned the following error: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target. Scenario. I'm running two Business spaces on my testing server....

Re: Timezone. EST vs. EDT
Don't know about the US, but in Europe (when we all switch on the same day), I have my server set to auto switch between GMT and GMT+1 (British Summer Time) and then an attribute in systemsetting called HoursFromServer (+ or - integer number) Then, when I need to calculate a time I use FlightLog.Fli...

Re: How to Format Column Totals in Grid
The reason why it is not working is because in the bounded RED area you have two commas which signals to AwareIM that you have three variable, Income.Amount then a variable with $# then another variable containing ##0 You could try changing the $#,##0 to be $#.##0 and see if either the attribute for...

Re: FIND ALL, SEARCH_COUNT seems to override READ PROTECT Filter
I find the logic strange here. The READ PROTECT statement is usually placed in the RULES of the BO, and they don't fire when a query is run and a list is obtained. They only trigger when you enter edit or view mode (or this is my understanding). The protection is not permanently held against a recor...

2 questions re MySQL
So I successfully migrated over to a new server (Windows server 2022 running on AMD 6 core, 12 thread 3.6Ghz - flies like a bullet) All systems working BUT I am getting a lot (like 36,000 in 12 hours) of BAD Handshake (event ID 100) with the provide MySQL in my event viewer logs Just wondered if any...

Re: *SOLVED* (YAY!!) REST/XERO I am now officially bald
I've already found out (I think) that those numbers in the brackets are seconds not milliseconds past a linux epoch start date WTF!!!. Yes, the digits are the number of (I believe) milliseconds past an epoch. Also called "Unix Time" or "POSIX Time" 1692795459269 => Wednesday, August 23, 2023 12:57:...

Re: *SOLVED* (YAY!!) REST/XERO I am now officially bald
Rocketman, Does that mean you know what to do with those formats and you just need to write the rules? Or do you need assistance with them? This is all new to me Bobk - flying by seat of pants. Never seen an output like this before. I was kinda hoping AIM would convert it automatically but no such ...

Re: More database things I don't know about testing/publishing
I tripped over something like this once. So (if I have misunderstood, apologies in advance) 1) You made some additions/changes to the BSV and put it into test mode. Test database gets updated with all the additions/changes 2) You restored an earlier version that does not contain the additions/change...

Re: Database latency - all suggestions appreciated, will compensate
I had speed issues when I suddenly found about 300 items in Execution context (still haven't bottomed out why they don't get deleted, since they are all idle). bottom line - It eats your memory and TBH, 8Gb ain't that much these days. I have also know a large EC object to cause the overnight backups...

*SOLVED* (YAY!!) REST/XERO I am now officially bald
I am now officially bald having torn all my hair out. Following an excellent post by @Gabitas, I started working on an accounting interface to Xero. succesfully made a call, got my tenant ID to the demo company etc, then thought I'd start small and just GET the account details for the BANK accounts....
