Pay Pal Subscription

Thinking outside the box, a possible scenario to implement Pay Pal subscription would be to utilize the Aware IM webservice capabilites. You could handle all payment processing on a seperate "module/site" using an open source solution (Joomla, Drupal, etc) and show in a URL link in Aware. The Subscr...

Standard Presentation with new grid

It is nice to be able to move columns and change widths on the standard presentation.

Is is possible to save the order of columns?

Since rearange order was not added as far as I can tell, it is a pain to have the unstructured columns order come up every time.

Test two databases

Is it possible to have two installs? I would like to compare an app running in the default Derby database with the same app running in MySQL. I understand that if I switch to MySQL, I will need to enter a new Product Activation Code. My question, can I install in seperate directories on the Developm...

Changing databases

I was attempting to change from the default Derby database to MySql. I followed the instructions in the install guide and on this forum. After restarting, it now says I have an evaluation version. Is this normal and I need a new activation code? Or did I miss something in the conversion?

Handheld access

You might want to check out VisualCE from Syware. I have been able to creat a handheld app that updates aware data. Note that you have to use a database other than Derby, as Derby does not allow outside connections when it is running under AwareIM. MySql with the ODBC driver works well. It does not ...

Build Number

On many posts, you reference the current "Build Number" for the latest update. I can not find anywhere on your site that indicates the current build number. It would be helpful if we could compare our build to the current. Maybe you could add a "Check for Updates" button on the control panel like ot...

Attribute Order

I have the same issue. Seems like they could implement the same Move Up - Move Down functionality for the default form as you use in the custom forms.

Clarification

I understand and got the process option to work. However, the contact must exist for this process to be available. What I am trying to accomplish is as follows. The Company BO exists. I click on the + to add a Contact (refer object) and the input form appears. The Contact does not yet exist, but I w...

Use referenced attibutes on create

I would like to have an option to populate fields when creating an object with referenced attributes. Example: Business object Companies has referenced object Contacts. When using the ADD NEW button from the Company Form to create a new Contact for the Company, I would like the option to use the Com...

Parent Record in Header

It would be nice if you did not have to include the fields for the record name when using the tab for referenced objects. Would like an enhancement request to be able to have the parent info show up in the header of the reference object. For example: When you navigate to the Member Loan History in t...

Latest Version

Could you perhaps add a field for Build Number next to the Update button on the download section on our Accounts. I have not found another location on the site that indicates what the current Build Number is? Maybe you could track which build number each user has downloaded and send an automatic e-m...

Add to list button

I have set up a reference object and see where you can choose to have an "Add Item" button appear on this section of the form. I have added this successfully and get the list of available items with check boxes next to each item to select the ones to add to the list. My Question: Is there a way to h...

Comments to czillman

It was encouraging to hear of your experience. I am developing a solution and am by no means a "programmer". I do understand the work flow I am trying to achieve and the data that need to be tracked. I appreciated your comments about getting to a working solution and then doing updates to add functi...

JDBC & Access

There may be an option that works. You could use the utility available to convert your MS Access database to the free SQLExpress (based on SQL 2005). You could then use the free SQL JDBC driver available from the Microsoft site.

Seems like a lot of trouble for $199 though!!
