I'm reading the book "Principles of the Business Rule Approach" by Ronald G. Ross and find it helpful in understanding Aware IM.


By the way support, how did you arrive at the name Aware IM? What does IM stand for? (just curious)

Have a corporate lan and would like to install and run the configuration tool on a separate machine. Where do I download "configtool.exe"

running 4.7 build 1246 under mac os 10.6. 10.6 can only run java se 6 (or greater). Now I'm getting the partial button labels in the configuration tool. (Resolution is 1440 x 900). Is there a way to return to the complete label buttons? Thanks

How does Aware IM prevent 2 or more users from making changes to the same Business object instance? How are simultaneous edits handled? That is, does Aware IM employ a type of record locking? How does Aware IM handle an incomplete transaction?

I had to reinstall the revaluation copy. Now I'm getting the following error message when the Aware IM server tries to start: License expired or invalid for product id 2b9489286a406459a387 (J Boss and Tomcat load fine) What did I do wrong? Also, is the evaluation copy the professional version? Thanks,

I'm using the Mac version of the evaluation software and can't find the directory/folder that contains the sample applications . Help!
