Query Display
When running and displaying a query normally the query will start displaying from the top of the available area on the screen. I am curious if it is possible to display a query page header (in html or some other format) over the top of the query? Currently the query displays but there is nothing to ...

Hey Tom, Thanks for the quick reply. Aware, is this on your list of changes to the app? If not, is there a limitation in extjs that won't allow a frame to start in a collapsed state? It would be great to be able to have a boolean selection in the size section of the visual perspective called 'Collap...

Visual Perspective
I would like to set up a visual perspective so that the right frame is collapsed when a user enters the visual perspective but allows them to click on it to expand the frame to the maximum size. I am assuming that this is very simple but I am having difficulty getting this to work. Any assistance wo...

The really PAINLESS way to convert is to use MYSQL's own Migration toolkit to recreate the whole schema with or without data in MYSQL as an intermediate step. Then use awareIM to create a database external persistent BO, acquire the attributes, Change the BO to a native Aware IM BO, then import the...

I apologize for the confusion that I may have caused on the Aware forum. I went back to the extjs.com site and read the forum posts again and a lot of what I was reading was personal opinion and conjecture. According to their official site, Ext JS is functional and supported on the following browser...

True. According to the extjs site it is an issue with Safari and Chrome (which uses Safari). According to their forum, Chrome is not supported by extjs (yet) so my guess is that I will have to tell people to avoid using Chrome, Safari and Potentially Firefox (I read that there were issues with it as...

OK.... My bad. It is a Google Chrome issue (maybe something that Aware should look at since a large population is starting to use this browser). The grids for reference objects look fine in IE 7.0 Aware, can you check and see why Google Chrome is not displaying the grids properly? I will check my se...

4.1 Issue?
I just installed the 4.1 version and loaded a BSV that I created in 4.0 and the grids that have more than 1 attribute set to display are only showing one. It looks like the first attribute in the reference object grid is fully expanded and I cannot see the other attributes to the far right in the gr...

How many pieces of info do you need to collect for a document? Have you looked at any BO Group applicability? Are the attributes truly fluid, or is it the assignment of roles (which location is going to gather a particular set of attributes) that is fluid? You bring up a good question. I might be a...

It sounds like you might want to have a number of different forms that collect different parts of the info for the BO. In your example, the form used by Location 1 to collect info on Document A would be different than the form used by Location 2. Yes. The trick is that there are over 75 different d...
