Yes, of course you can manually export or update to the server. That's what I do now. The problem is that you have to constantly have to remember to do saves. Therefore, I submitted "Auto Save" as a feature request.

It would be really nice if the AwareIM Configuration Tool included an auto update/backup feature that would periodically save a local copy of the Business Space, and/or do an "Update and Keep Locked".
