Service input is one or more [[glossary:business_object|business objects]] containing information that the [[glossary:service|service]] expects from the service requestor. If the service is defined in a [[glossary:business_space|business space]] the service input objects are passed to the [[glossary:service_implementation|implementing process]] as the [[glossary:process_input|process input]] when the service is requested in the [[glossary:operation_mode|operation mode]].
